Worst Golfing Christmas Presents is a short golf blog post that looks at some of the terrible gifts that people buy golfers at Christmas. I know, I know, we shouldn’t be upset with presents that are given to us, as it is the thought that counts, right? Well, some golfers would beg to differ and are open about receiving presents that they don’t like and they’ll pass on to someone else. Worst Golfing Christmas Presents. Novelty Golf Balls One of the worst presents to receive as a golfer are Novelty Golf Balls. These are usually printed with stupid Emojis or silly sayings like ‘Future Lake Ball’, ’60 and Still Swinging’ or ‘I feel Rough’. Some of them even look like tennis balls, baseballs or footballs. Whatever form they come in, they are not the perfect gift for a golfer because they don’t perform. Golfers Slippers I like a pair of slippers, but these bad boys are my worst nightmare. They are supposed to look like Golf Shoes but they don’t. They are supposed to be comfy, but they’re not. These slippers are as far away from quality as you can get and will be worn out in seconds. The Office Putter These things usually come in a little case and are meant to be the perfect gift for the office. This isn’t ideal for a golfer as they are so badly made that it feels nothing like putting because the shaft is dead. You are better off buying a quality putting mat because your partner or boss can use it properly. Toilet Golf Set This is probably the worst golfing gift ever. It may be funny for 30 seconds and then the reality kicks in and the present becomes the worst gift in the world because it is boring.
