Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned professional, we all find ourselves in pressurised situations.

Thankfully, we are all human beings and even some of the better golfers, out there, reading this will feel weak at the knees.

This may be the easiest-looking shot in the world until you tee up your own ball. The 129-yard wide strip of grass suddenly looks tiny.

Concrete lie in the greenside bunker on the 18th hole with the terrace full of spectators.

You stand over this one praying not to thin the hell out of it into the clubhouse restaurant.

Flop shot from a bare lie with parked cars behind the green.

Sweat rolls down your forehead as you picture your ball being sculled into the side door of a new Lexus.

The tee shot after being waved through by the group in front.

Everyone has faced this one before. Even though your standard shot is a Hook, you know you’re going to Slice the hell out of this next one.

3-foot putt to win your first tournament.

You stand there wishing you had practised these a little more often, as your legs turn to jelly and your head fills with fog.

200-yard carry over the water from the 18th tee with your last ball.

Every golfer knows the pressure of teeing off, especially with your last ball facing a mission-impossible shot.

If you have not yet faced this tee shot… let me tell you, that no matter how much planning in advance you have done, you will stand on that tee absolutely clueless.
